Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy
After a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time that lasts through early December. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. And there are three different bundles available here.
Primary Feature
The standout feature is certainly permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.
An imaginative landscape chart created using the CC3+ software platform.
Package Levels
Entry Level
The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Mid-Range Option
The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the applications only function with Windows systems.
Philanthropic Aspect
Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, though users may also choose any amount for a donation on the right side of the page. Additionally available is an "Adjust Donation" drop-down immediately below, enabling adjustment of how much of your donation goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
